A partire dal 2014 il Liceo Marie Curie di Garda ha avviato un programma a lungo termine di studi sulla biodiversità in Val dei Molini, denominato “Progetto Garda SIC IT3210007”, che ha consentito nel tempo la raccolta di dati fondamentali sulle specie e gli habitat dell’Area protetta, in particolare sul travertino, sul gesso da sartoria, sul gambero dai piedi pallidi, sugli insetti ascalafidi dei prati aridi e sul velo da sposa di Garda, pianta cariofillacea endemica esclusiva del golfo gardesano.
Questa mole di dati è visibile in parte presso la sede liceale ed in parte presso il Museo Territoriale.
Il materiale esposto consente, anche al visitatore inesperto, di fare esperienza diretta sulla complessa organizzazione della società animale e vegetale presente lungo il corso protetto del torrente Tesina.

Seit 2014 hat das Liceo Marie Curie von Garda ein langfristiges Studienprogramm über die Biodiversität in „Val dei Molini“ gestartet. Es heißt „Progetto Garda SIC IT3210007″ und hat die Sammlung von wichtigen Dateien über die Arten und Habitats des geschützten Gebietes ermöglicht, besonders über den Travertin, die Schneiderkreide, den Krebs mit bleichen Füßen, die Schmetterlingshaften Insekten und den „Brautschleier von Garda“ (ein endemisches Nelkengewächs).
Diese Datenmenge ist zum Teil in der Schule, zum Teil im Gebietsmuseum sichtbar.
Das ausgestellte Material erlaubt auch dem unerfahrenen Besucher, die komplexe Organisation der Tier- und Pflanzenwelt entlang des Baches Tesina zu verstehen.

In 2014 Liceo Marie Curie in Garda launched a long-term research project. Biodiversity in the nearby Valle dei Molini (The Valley of Watermills) is at its core. The research project – denominated “Progetto Garda SIC IT3210007” – has already achieved some important results. Fundamental data have been collected, on both the species and their habitats in the Protected Area. Among them, some are worth mentioning: travertine, chalk, white-leg shrimps, ascalaphidae inhabiting the dry meadows of the valley and the Bridal Veil plants, i.e. endemic Caryophyllaceae growing exclusively in the area surrounding the Gulf of Garda.
Everyone is invited to see the afore-mentioned collected materials with their own eyes: part of them is diplayed at the Liceo and the other part at the Territorial Museum.
Expert and non-expert visitors alike will have the chance to enjoy a direct visual experience of the amazingly complex organization of both the animal and vegetable societies thriving on the protected banks of the stream Tesina.
